Investor Capital Expo 2023: A Resounding Success with 1000 Attendees and Over 1500 Investor Interests.

Seattle, WA, August 22, 2023 - The summer edition of Investor Capital Expo 2023, organized by Keiretsu Forum Northwest & Rockies, took center stage on August 16th and 17th at the Microsoft campus in Redmond, Washington. The extravagant two-day event, both in-person and virtually attended by over 1,000 investors, splendidly crafted a dynamic platform where the harmonious blend of innovation and investment took center stage. On Expo Day 1, the focus was on the Keiretsu Syndication Summit & Power Matching Exchange followed in the afternoon by the Family Office Forum. Expo Day 2 was exclusively dedicated to the Investor Capital Expo, rounding out the two-day event.

Twenty-Four emerging companies presented their cutting-edge innovations, engaging with investors, institutional investors, and family offices through several rounds of Q&A, resulting in an impressive tally of over 1,500 indications of investment interest on both days.

The Family Office Forum boasted an impressive lineup of esteemed speakers from all corners of the nation. The forum started with an enthralling keynote presentation by Ron Weissman, followed by Ron Diamond's exploration of recent trends in family offices and venture capital.  Keshav Rao, Craig D’Cruze,  Kathernie Hill Ritchie, Ken Goldman, Matt Salloway, and Ted Ackerley provided profound insights, expertise, and diverse perspectives on the dynamic landscape of family offices. Another captivating panel featured S. Chakra Chennubhotla, Melanie Salvador, Armando Viteri, and Adrian Mendoza, who shared exciting revelations on AI investments for family offices.  This forum created a valuable opportunity for thought leaders to dive into the complex world of family offices and investments, including discussing how artificial intelligence plays a role in these financial considerations.

The Expo showcased an exceptional roster of keynote speakers, including Ronald Weissman, Vice Chair of the Angel Capital Association;  Lili Cheng, Corporate Vice President for AI and Research at Microsoft; Professor Ed Lazowska from the University of Washington; Melanie Salvador representing Singularity Ecosystem Venture Funds; Jared Sandborn of Pure Technology; Bill Inman from edYou; Stacey Engle of Twin Protocol; and Barbara Bickham, of Trailyn VC.

From the 18 presenting companies at the Expo, Healionics Corporation secured the leading position as the Most Valued Company, as voted by investors using the the Votegrity platform. Followed closely by,  Clics who claimed second place, while Light Line Medical achieved the third spot.  Keiretsu Forum member Craig D’Cruze was honored as the Most Valued Member for his substantial contributions to the advancement of multiple startups.

The EXPO wrapped up with a closed event VIP Yacht Cruise on Lake Washington that was organized to celebrate the Keiretsu Community on the afternoon of Friday, August 18th. Over 140+ Angel Investors came together to celebrate the success of the Investor Capital Expo and the community.
